JoAnne Leigh (the Carlady) has spent the past 26 years in the automotive industry: but most importantly, she is a wife, mother of 3, and step-mom of 2 more!
JoAnne originally trained to be a chef , but when this male dominated industry became too discouraging and impossible to break into - she abandoned that and entered ( an even more male dominated) industry of the automotive world!! Determined to prove that women can break the stereotype and provide a new perspective into the automotive world- she has persevered.
Statistics now show that women dominate car buying decisions, buying 62% of all new cars and playing a leading role in 85% of auto purchases. Still, a poll last year showing the results of 64,000 online reviews, found that “43% of women do not trust the auto industry”.
JoAnne has made this the focus of Carlady.ca - using her inside knowledge of the automotive industry to provide honest and straight-forward answers to women (and men) shopping for a vehicle. No obligation!
